All About Matt Rathbun Photography

Photography has been an interest of mine since my dad first let me use his camera.  He showed me a few things, but I have learned much more through classes and trial and error.  Over the years, I have developed my own unique style.

I was born and raised surrounded by the natural beauty of Colorado. From misty lakes and mountains to spectacular sunsets, from the tiniest of insects to the soaring eagles above, it‘s all inspiration waiting to be captured by my camera. 

The Denver Metro Area has a thriving fine arts community.  Sculptures, murals, and galleries are plentiful, providing opportunities to capture and share the man-made beauty around town.

Whether I’m photographing memories to last you a lifetime or shooting your professional headshots, I try to catch your individual personality and flair.  I work closely with you to ensure I understand your vision and preferences for your photos.

When I’m not taking commissioned photos,  I am working on my Master’s degree in Social Work or hiking around my beautiful state in search of my next bit of natural inspiration.
